The Great Commission

The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) tells us to go and make desciples of every nation. Notice that it does not say to go and make believers. Only God can make believers. It is our job to spread the truth of the Gospel, so that those whom God has made as a believer can know Jesus and how to obey God. Making disciples means teaching people, through both the example of our life and through instruction, how to become more like Christ.
