Can Someone In An Isolated Location Be Saved?
The answer is yes, because God can do whatever He wishes, however remember...
As Calvin said: General revelation (Romans 1:19-20 for example) makes us ALL aware that God exists, so none of has an excuse. But, as a result of the fall we are separated from God -- our desires for wordly things turn our heads away from God, so that we want anything except God. And thus we are condemned to hell.
The point is that general revelation is not enough, it also takes the Holy Spirit acting in our lives. Everyone has the opportunity. God does not want anyone to be lost. He is reaching out to us through the Holy Spirit. But our human desires, our sinful nature, keeps us from turning to him and opening our hearts. That's the problem -- sin.
How can we be saved? Through the blood of Jesus. Jesus, on the cross, took the punishment we deserved for our sins so that we are washed clean and can enter heaven.
How can someone in an isolated location be saved? In the same way as anyone else -- by the action of the Holy Spirit who leads us to realize we are sinners; and that our only salvation is through the freely given grace of God.
