Marriage Is Between One Mand and One Woman
There are many passages in the Bible that tell us that marriage is between one man and one woman. For example, although 1 Corinthians 7:1-4 is teaching about marriage in general, it is very clear that marriage is between one man and one woman. Here's what it says (NLT):
"Now about the question you asked in your letter. Yes, it is good to live a celibate life. But because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband."
"The husband should not deprive his wife of sexual intimacy, which is her right as a married woman, nor should the wife deprive her husband. The wife give authority over her body to her husband, and the husband also gives authority over his body to his wife."
The Bible is very specific in how things are worded, and this passage is very specific about marriage being between a man and a woman.

I love this message. I'm working with a large group on "YES to Proposition 8" for California voters to protect the sanctity of marriage and I referenced to this message in some of my blogs/emails that I sent out to people. It's about standing on the traditional values of the foundations of this country and not budging in order to satisfy the masses. Thank you for your efforts in 'protecting the sanctity of marriage'!
