Jailing, Beating, Killing Christians

I regularly read on the internet about Christians being jailed, beaten, killed and persecuted because they are Christian, and refuse to violate God's commands.

When I read these I'm glad I live in a country in which such things don't happen to Christians, or any other group. Or do they....?

And I wonder where are those who go ballistic when there is an American atrocity? Where are the protests? Where are the editorials? Where are the voices raised in anger against injustice when it's a Christian who is on the receiving end of an atrocity?

You incite hatred and discrimination against homosexuals, but lament the fruits of such things when they are experienced by christians.

The things you complain about are caused by people who have your bigoted views, except the target of their anger is the christian community.

I don't condone violence in any form - just want you to realise that you are not very different from those you condemn.
