Only 5% of Americans Are Christian

Most American's call themselves Christians, but sadly their actions do not match what they think about themselves.

The latest Barna survey reports that Americans remain inclined toward spiritual matters and feel comfortable with their relationship with God and the clarity they have regarding their purpose in life. This feeling of comfort, however, does not make a person a Christian.

The survey shows that despite that sense of security and discernment, only 5% of American adults possess a biblical worldview, and a minority believes in absolute moral truth.
