First Gay Marriage - Now Polygomy

We've long said that once homosexual marriage / civil unions were accepted as being correct and normal, that it would be a short step to demands that polygamy be legalized. Not only has this happened, but the first polygamious civil union has already taken place.

The Netherlands and Belgium were the first to legalize homosexual marriage. Now in The Netherlands polygamy has become accepted as normal and the first civil union of three partners was registered. Victor de Bruijn (46) from Roosendaal “married” both Bianca (31) and Mirjam (35) in a ceremony before a notary who duly registered their civil union last Friday.

“I love both Bianca and Mirjam, so I am marrying them both,” Victor said. He had previously been married to Bianca. Two and a half years ago they met Mirjam Geven through an internet chatbox. Eight weeks later Mirjam deserted her husband and came to live with Victor and Bianca. After Mirjam’s divorce the threesome decided to marry.

Victor: “A marriage between three persons is not possible in the Netherlands, but a civil union is. We went to the notary in our marriage costume and exchanged rings. We consider this to be just an ordinary marriage.”

The slippery slope just got steeper and slicker.

Where homosexual activists failed get laws allowing same sex marriage passed, or failed to get judges to create those "laws", there is now a big push for civil unions. Civil unions are the same as marriage in all ways except what they are called. Once the door is open to marriage (civil unions) between any two people who "love" each other, there is no reason to restrict that to two people.

Watch out America - the further we go, the further God withdraws His blessings. If you think things are bad now with the evils of abortion, divorce, rampant pornography, and acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle; wait until we have civil unions that include polygamous relationships!

Maybe it's time to start reading the book of Judges to find out what happens when people ignore God and do what is right in their own eyes.
