I'm sorry that your parents deceived you this way. I've never heard of anyone before who felt things such as this (the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, etc.) was anything more than a fun game. I asked my kids about this (the youngest is now 19). They just remember gradually figuring out there could not be a tooth fairy, but they didn't say anything so they could keep getting the money.
